A quote of my mom's I like alot (at least i think its hers), "I may not always like you, but I will always love you"
Ginger ale and ginger beer are quite different. Ginger ale is somewhat a home remedy for upset stomachs and motion sickness. Ginger beer is more strongly flavoured with ginger, and the traditionally processed ginger beer is alcoholic. The easy giveaway of the two is its color: ginger ale is clearer and more "yellow" where else ginger beer is cloudy.
Today was my last day of work. Pure ecstasy!! I've been working for the past week or so at an accountancy firm... quite a lot of perks, but I really hate doing paperwork- which was my original job description. But as it turns out my job was extremely flexible. Here's a few of the tasks I endeavoured: Going to KL to get 2 typewriters fixed, arranging (many many) portraits on the wall (they repainted and hence the painting had to come down), data entering, carrying heavy objects, fixing minor computer problems, and my main task: deciphering 50 year old documents which are jumbled, superfluous, printed of crumbling paper and missing crucial details. My co-workers were relatively nice and normal... but due to my extreme lack in information processing I only remembered the names of "half" the employees (which actually isn't that bad by my standards). Let’s see if i can recall it all: there was guy on right, guy behind me, CL (we'll get back to this one later), Miss. R (not nice to name drop), guy behind the guy behind me and lastly the guy behind the guy behind the guy behind me (I think his name had was Nazim). Now going back to CL (as I shall shorten it) originally upon seeing her name on the computer log on screen i thought it was a guy making a joke as her name when translated to English was something like: good looking man.. however upon seeing CL, i realized i was much mistaken, it was very much a she. A she who was at most 23, but had gotten married at 18. Not THAT uncommon, but what makes it rather unique is that she viewed 18 years old as above the ideal age for marriage... in her book, she had been a spinster for way too long. Another good thing about working at offices is that you’re forced to wear neckties, and this gave me an excuse to wear some of the most hideous neckties known to man.
The haze has been really bad, and I’ve been having a cough... but it actually looks rather pretty and actually makes M’sia look nice with all the “mist”
I just realized that Moriarty is a criminal character used in various literature pieces and he’s not just confined to the works of Conan Doyle.
Pip refers to the seed of several fruits such as apples and oranges. I thought it merely meant something small.
M.L.R.O. quote: Pride is the downfall of all proud men
Odd fact: Unlike how sometimes actors are digitally enhanced in movies, in Herby Disney’s latest production, Lindsay Lohan was digitally disenhanced (and she still looked superb)
Realization: Intelligence is a double-edged sword
M.L.R.O. Quote: Intelligence is a double-edged sword, but an idiot would manage to inflict harm unto himself being it double or single-edged.
