Its just you think... you think you know someone... who they are. You spend time together, and share laughs together. But the truth is we are just a bunch of people pretending to know each other. Pretending we are there for each other when theres problems; pretending to feel sympathy when they are in trouble but in truth there's nothing there. We all are pretenders. Pretending to be someone we aren't. We pretend to be someone else untill we fail to even recognize ourselves in front of the mirror.

We wear a mask wherever we go. We wear a mask when we are with our family, we wear a mask when we are with our friends, even with strangers we never drift far from the masks we now call our face. But worst of all, we wear a mask too when we are alone. It seems that we can no longer live without our masks. We pretend that everything is fine when its not.

We pretend that we will be fine even though we know that its never going to be 'fine'. We pretend that life will be a fairy tale. We pretend that we get along with some people when deep down we despise them.

Sooner or later, the lie will be the truth of everything. What are we soo afraid of? Is it that below our masks lies the face of a beast? A beast that even we cannot come to terms with?

Fear not. We are all a kin.
