Think of me

Currently one my favourite songs(yeah, weird)

**************

Christine: Think of me/Think of me fondly when we've said goodbye/Remember me/Once in a while, please promise me you'll try/When you find that once again you long to take your heart back and be free/If you ever find a moment/Spare a thought for me/We never said our love was evergreen/Or as unchanging as the sea/But if you can still remember/Stop and think of me/Think of all the things we've shared and seen/Don't think about the way things might've been/ think of me/Think of me waking, silent and resigned/Imagine me trying too hard to put you from my mind/Recall those days/Look back on all those times/Think of the things we'll never do/There will never be a day when I won't think of you.

Raoul: Can it be/Can it be Christine? (Bravo!)/Long ago, it seems so long ago/How young and innocent we were/She may not remember me/But I remember her. Christine: Flowers fade/The fruits of summer fade/They have their seasons, so do we/But please promise me that sometimes you will think...(Opera singing) Of me!

A few thoughts

-People who can't dance, shouldn't. Fine e.g.: Bush! I support the guy, but really he can't dance. Also when he was dancing, he made it more of a show for the press rather than what a dance should be about; the two people dancing.

-Car's in rain prone countries should have their windows fitted in at 90degrees to improve visibility during rainstorms.

Glitter lamps?

Was wondering how or why exactly a lava lamp does what it does. Here's what I found out: The insides of lava lamps contain colored water and wax. When the wax gets hot enough it expands, and so it floats to the top of the lamp. On it's journey to the top, it loses its's head and shrinks. As it shrinks, it falls down again to the bottom of the lamp. *Repeat*

Here's just something I found interesting.
Now concentrate on the black dot at the centre of the flag for around 1 minute. Blink and look at a white surface.
Have fun!

A few Realizations

Recently I've had a lot of time to myself; and well boring myself to death with nothing to do-no TV, no books, no online games, no sports, and friends are incessantly occupied (Me not wanting to interrupt). So I've had time to think and realize certain things in my life-not anything of depth, hehe...actually rather trivial things.

Throughout my life I've actually not liked the sun too much. I only liked it on the rare occasion that it was 'dry heat' as i term it. I especially hated it when it rained; then it would be even more annoying, because of the access moisture in the air. Now here's the realization, I don't know when exactly, but I've come to like Malaysian weather. Don't ask me why, but I suddenly like the normally garish sun. I still hate the humidity, but mostly I've been enjoying the recent weather. As for the rainstorms, I've always liked them accept on the occasion that I wanted to go out or needed to use the computer, so no complains.

Next, I realized that I really like certain movies. Movies such as, P. T. Opera, A walk to remember, Spiderman, Matrix, T. L. Samurai, L.O.T.R., Harry Potter.......etc etc. All these movies can be put into three different groups, the good fight, quest for love and fantasy. I would classify 'the good fight' movies to be movies where strong emotions and dilemmas play, and in the end the hero sacrifices individual needs for the greater good. Nothing can be more noble than that, and we all can only aspire to reach such a high level of humanity. Such movies would include, the matrix, Spiderman, and the last samurai.

As for 'quest for love', I would classify this as any movie in which it's characters are willing to go the distance, and sacrifice all to the ideology of true love. Movies in this category include, P.T. Opera and a walk to remember. Now this is what I realized about myself, I like 'quest for love' movies so much, because I too am a believer of the ideology of true love, and that's the reason I've been dissatisfied in previous relations.

As for the last category of movies I like, 'fantasy'. I find that such movies attract me because as always, the grass is greener on the other side, and I like the simplicity and complexity of life in the pseudo universes conjured by master authors. Not that I have something against the way of life here in our little corner of the universe, but I think it could take a leaf of two out of the world of fantasy.

To the mosque and beyond

I was walking around the other day and I passed a mosque as their prayers were going on, it was then that a plot took shape in my mind. I wondered what they did in there and what it was actually like in one of those giant mosques during religious festivals. Okay so here’s the thing, I have quite an active imagination; and I occasionally think how something could be pulled off, as in heists – hehe, no I’m not going into that line of work, I just like thinking about how it’s possible. On this occasion however it wasn’t anything as complex as a heist , it was getting in and out of a mosque undetected.

1)So first I would have to work on appearance, which is already pretty much covered. People commonly mistake my coloring for being that of a Malay or Chinese. As for my clothing, a ‘kopiah’, a ‘baju melayu’, a pair of longs and a pair of slippers would do fine.

2)Touch up on my Malaya vocab and sentence structure, and you have Mohammad Mikhel.

3)Get into the mosque, and follow what everyone else does.

Now I’m thinking how I might get into a Hindu temple, my coloring isn’t going to fool many.
